Whytes Coaches has a green-green OCRS rating from VOSA, the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency. This means that our maintenance, roadworthiness and overall legality of operation is top rated. Like any respectable operator, Whytes Coahes would be happy to provide an updated report from VOSA to any interested party and, indeed, would welcome you to our premises to inspect any aspect of our operation.
Coach Marque
Whytes Coaches is one of only two Scottish members of CoachMarque, the UK quality standard for the coach industry. The standard was introduced so that passengers can recognise coach companies that are committed to delivering a quality service.
The Coachmarque Logo displayed on the side of a vehicle means that the coach company has been awarded the CoachMarque status by passing a series of qualification standards, outlined below:
Seat-belts on all vehicles - High standards of customer service
- 75% of the coach fleet under 10 years old
- Approved high quality staff and driver training programmes
- An annual assessment of standards
- Full compliance with financial protection legislation
- A commitment to focus on high levels of passenger safety and comfort
- An efficient complaints procedure
- Driving staff in smart, clean uniforms

Carbon Clear
As well as running a modern fleet of fuel efficient vehicles, Whytes Coaches has installed energy saving devices within our workshop and is the first Scottish coach operator to be Carbon Neutral.
